Ricky + Alex

Ricky and Alex’s wedding was a wild-hearted celebration held on her grandfather’s land in Council, Idaho, timed perfectly with the opening day of quail season. That morning, friends and family joined for a sunrise ceremony, followed by a hunt through the golden fields—only to have the bride, still in her wedding dress, take the sole bird of the day.

Guests got ready in canvas cowboy tents before gathering around a long table for a beautiful meal by Horsewood Catering, featuring elk harvested by the couple themselves. As the sun dipped low, a bluegrass band played into the night, with plenty of whiskey and laughter, and a whole lot of dancing under the stars with only a campfire to light the scene. It was a day stitched together with grit, beauty, and deep, deep love—a perfect reflection of Ricky and Alex.
